Celebrating Pride in our Local Heritage

The ‘Paint The Town Proud’ ® arts in heritage project led by Creative Start Arts In Health CIC recently ran from 2021 until 2025, working in collaboration with a number of local, national and international artists, creative organisations and community groups across key venues and locations throughout Grimsby and Cleethorpes.

​We are proud to announce the final piece of our ‘Paint the Town Proud’ project, the official Mural Map!

In this map are 19 murals from the ‘Paint The Town Proud’ community mural project.


Each mural tells a story. Some of the stories are about the towns history of fishing, others the amazing wildlife that can be found in our area and some that look at our town in an unusual or surprising way.


Each one of the murals has been designed by different artists from far and wide, and can be found on the streets of Grimsby and Cleethorpes.
