Due to the success of the initial project and many community requests for more murals throughout Grimsby and Cleethorpes after our first Paint The Town Proud project, Creative Start were approached once again by Grimsby Creates to bring a new focus back to the project.

Creative Start were tasked to provide further murals throughout Grimsby and Cleethorpes and have continued to engage with local, national, and international artists, bringing them to the area to paint their work for the community to enjoy.

A new team was created by Creative Start with former volunteer and artist from the 'Great Wall Of Grimsby' mural Kathleen Smith taking over management of the project from Becky Darnell.

Additional murals have also been funded by North East Lincolnshire Council and brought in under the 'Paint The Town Proud' umbrella by Creative Start.

As a result of Arts Council funding being successfully secured by NELC via their 'Grimsby Creates' organisation, Creative Start (who were already well known for creating community murals throughout Grimsby and Cleethorpes) put together a tender with a team of partners  and secured funding to deliver  a series of community-driven murals throughout the town.
