Becky Darnell is a highly adaptable professional with creative vision and a proven track record in project management, event management, income generation and relationship management across many sectors including commercial, community, charity and the arts.

As a strategic thinker and excellent communicator with over 15 years experience in sales, marketing, events and business development and a passion for developing the local creative sector she played a key role in the inception and delivery of the  project.

Becky managed the Paint The Town Proud Project until 2023 culminating in the project being awarded the Mayors 'Community Impact Award' at the NEL Civic Awards 2023.

Her role as project manager was succeeded by Kathleen Smith in 2024.

'The Culture House' is an arts charity and a National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England committed to bringing arts and culture to life. The organisation produces impactful place-making events, festivals and arts projects that transform spaces and connect people to their place and eachother.
