About the 'On The Beach' Murals

‘On the Beach’ murals are based around the creatures and plants you can find on Cleethorpes Beach, in The Humber and within The North Sea.

Each of the four walls have a different theme (The Crab, The Jellyfish, The Birds and The Seahorse and Cod) They were designed to all be connected by the circle with the waves of the sea or the waves of the sand on the beach.

Each one differing slightly, in colour and what species decorate the circle.

They were designed to look like each one was surrounded by leaves and flowers but when you look closely you realise that they consist of seaweed, shells and starfish.

These murals create a welcome to coaches and visitors arriving at Grant Street car park and show them what to look out for on the beach.
