This mural has been a truly special one for us, a collective celebration of Cleethorpes, its proud ties to the armed forces, and the unmistakable charm of our seaside town.

Designed by Creative Start and Nomad Studio, the artwork captures the spirit and heritage of Cleethorpes in a style that feels right at home on the promenade.

What makes this mural even more meaningful is how it came to life, with a dedicated group of artists and individuals in recovery all painting side by side. It’s a great example of creativity, community, and connection.

We didn’t promote the mural while it was being created, we wanted the work to speak for itself.

Thanks to the amazing support of the We Love Cleethorpes social media group and the wider public, the artwork found its audience in the most genuine way possible. Your encouragement kept us going.

As a thank you, we’ve named the mural ‘We Love Cleethorpes’ because this is about all of you, as much as it is about the paint on the wall.
