We've been enjoying the spring sunshine on the Cleethorpes promenade as we work on our latest mural to celebrate the town.

We're aiming to include as many local references as possible and hoping to create something the whole community can enjoy.

We're working with as many local people as possible too, including local artists, Armed Forces veterans, and, of course, the recovery community.

We hope everyone enjoys the mural when it’s completed. This is a community project, and anyone is welcome to get involved. Come on down and show your support!

Don't forget, we're still selling our 'Colour The Town Proud' colouring books online or from the Blackgull Community Venue at the Great Escape on Grimsby Docks.

You can purchase the colouring book online at:

If you buy the colouring book online you can pick up your order from 1 Auckland Rd, Grimsby DN31 3RP in Grimsby. Open

The weather is slowly warming up and we've been busy planning the next round of murals to appear in and around Grimsby and Cleethorpes! Welcome back to the Paint The Town project for 2025! We finished last year on a high with the Pink Bear mural in Cleethorpes by LUAP and we've been planning this years murals and bringing new artists in to the project. We've also secured funding for more murals, bringing our goal this year up to a whopping 7 murals to be completed by the end of summer! We'll have more details to share soon...

We've been keeping busy over the winter working on some new merchandise and we're proud to launch our new colouring book! In the book are ten murals from the ‘Paint The Town Proud’ community mural project reimagined and redrawn by local artist ‘Kevin Atkins’ for you to colour in! (We’ve even added a blank wall at the end to have a go at creating your own). Each one of the murals has been designed by different artists from far and wide, and can be found on the streets of Grimsby and Cleethorpes. Each mural tells a story. Some of the stories are about the towns history of fishing, others the amazing wildlife that can be found in our area and some that look at our town in an unusual or surprising way. Scan the QR code on each picture with a smartphone to find out more about each mural. You can use your own colours to decorate them and try your hand at creating a mural for yourself. Have fun colouring in them all and then go out and see if you can find them on the streets of Grimsby and Cleethorpes. Hint: You can see a map at: www.streetartcities.com/cities/grimsby with all the murals. Keep an eye out for more murals appearing on the streets of North East Lincolnshire soon!
